“Just one gesture, but will make the whole world cry” – The historic father-daughter moment It’s not a lavish ceremony. It’s not a dazzling speech. It’s a small gesture – surprisingly simple – that is predicted to make the whole world silent. Harry and Lilibet, in an event kept secret until the last minute, will share a father-daughter moment that will leave onlookers “breathless with emotion”. Sources said it won’t last more than a few seconds, but it will be enough to become an iconic image, a “historic mark” for the Sussex family. Many believe this will be a “healing moment” for Harry – who has carried so much pain and conflict on his shoulders. And for Lilibet, it will be the first time she has associated her name with a global message. Everyone is waiting anxiously, with the same burning question: what is that simple gesture that can touch millions of hearts, making both the Royal Family and the global public never forget?

Now, in a conversation with The Guardian, Prince Harry has confirmed the latest personal decision he has made. As he himself has stated, he is “closer” to taking his children to England. Many interpret this step as a possible beginning of a family rapprochement.

Prince Harry announces the desired return to London of his daughter Lilibet

According to Prince Harry, his intention to move his little ones, Archie and Lilibet, to his home country is almost a reality. “This week has definitely brought it closer,” he confirmed to the aforementioned outlet.

These statements come shortly after, in May, the Duke of Sussex broke his silence on BBC News. At that time, he even stated that he couldn’t “imagine a world in which I’d bring my wife and children back to the U.K.”

At that time, Prince Harry had just lost a legal appeal against the government’s decision to withdraw his official security during his visits. This legal situation had further fueled his estrangement from the rest of his family.

This withdrawal occurred in 2020, when he resigned from his institutional duties. “I love my country, I’ve always loved it. Despite what some people in that country have done,” he commented, showing a certain bitterness.

Now, after his latest visit to London, Prince Harry is already in California with Meghan and their children, Archie and Lilibet. During this trip, he had the opportunity to attend the WellChild Awards.

He also shared a private tea with his father after 19 months without seeing each other. The last time they met was in February 2024, shortly after King Charles III announced he was being treated for cancer.

In his conversation with The Guardian, Prince Harry did not want to go into detail about the relationship with his father, although he made it clear that he doesn’t want this rapprochement to be an isolated event. According to him, “the focus has to be on my father” in the coming months.

“I’ve always loved the U.K. and I always will. It’s been a pleasure to reconnect with the causes I’m passionate about. I’ve been able to spend time with people I’ve known for a long time… It’s hard to do it from so far away,” he added during the interview.
