Princess Charlotte and Kate ‘bond’ through matching outfits – ‘Just like her mum!’

Princess Charlotte can often be caught imitating her mum’s impeccable style. The royal pair have had some exceptional twinning fashion moments.

Like mother, like daughter, Princess Kate and Princess Charlotte always look remarkable when they step out for royal engagements. Fans have noticed that Princess Charlotte often sports similar looks to her stylish royal mum.

Princess Charlotte was the image of her mother in a similar black coat dress from Ancar.

She wore thick wool tights – in black – with Manuela de Juan black leather plimsolls.

She wore traditional funeral attire including a black hat, which was the Child Classic Boater by Jane Taylor London.

Like her mum, Charlotte’s accessories paid homage to the late Queen Elizabeth II.

In true Kate fashion, the Princess donned a smart baby blue coat dress, complete with a matching clutch and dark blue headband.

Following suit, Princess Charlotte too wore a baby blue number, complete with small flower patterns, and some tights in the same shade.

When the pair don’t wear totally matching outfits, they can sometimes be found sharing one key colour.

On Christmas day in 2019, Kate opted for a grey coat with emerald green accessories including a hat and clutch.

And holding her hand was little Princess Charlotte, kitted out in an emerald green coat.

But why do Kate and Charlotte often dress so similarly? According to an expert, this is a deliberate choice.

Speaking to MyLondon, behavioural colour psychologist Karen Haller stated: “Wearing the same hue, the Cambridges are showing they are coming together as a family, representing themselves as a cohesive unit.”

Royal fans were delighted to see the Princesses dress in such a similar way, and left several comments under a post about the “twinning” royals.
