ROYAL CHAOS! Little Prince William Gets TOO Excited – And Aunt Anne Steps In Like a Pro. Four-Year-Old Prince William’s Adorable Energy Steals the Show at Trooping the Colour

CHEEKY ROYAL: Princess Anne tries to calm down an overly-excited four-year-old Prince William at Trooping The Colour

AN adorable clip has emerged of a four-year-old Prince William being naughty on the balcony at Trooping the Colour.

The excitable little royal can be seen being given a little reminder by Princess Anne to behave, after he can’t keep still saluting and pretending to do slingshots during the ceremony.

The clip was taken as the royals stood at Buckingham Palace in 1987, with his young brother Harry in the background being carried by Princess Diana.

Behaving like any other four-year-old would, Prince William is clearly very distracted – as he can’t stand still like his older family members.

Aware that the little tot is stealing the limelight away from the action, his aunt bends down to try and calm him down.

Although this seems to work for a few seconds, William is back playing around before long.

Proving that the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree, his own kids have been known to be cheeky in public.

Kate Middleton was praised last week by parents for her ‘fantastic’ response to Princess Charlotte sticking her tongue out to the crowds at a regatta.

As Princess Charlotte, four, cheekily put her tongue out, Kate appeared to erupt into laughter – like many well-wishers.
