BREAKING NOW: King Charles Makes MAJOR CHANGE Ahead of Christmas Celebrations — Royal Tradition Will Never Be the Same

King Charles makes major change ahead of Christmas celebrations

King Charles has made a major change ahead of his Christmas Day celebrations at St Mary Magdalene Church in Sandringham.

The King has taken the necessary steps to remove a squeaky floorboard from the Norfolk estate.

The change is part of wider renovations that have been made to the 16th-century building, including replacing the “threadbare” red carpet in the congregation pews for a sum of £4,000.

Workers have also carried out the cleaning of the mosaic flooring and replaced the clock on the church tower.

The parish room, which is attached to the rectory, has also been given a revamp.

The total bill for the refurbishment came to £6,765 and is the responsibility of the Parochial Church Council.

Local Colin Smythe told Hello: “The squeaky floorboard was very irritating – every time someone stepped on it the solemn mood was ruined, it’s great it has now been repaired so services will be more peaceful.”

The church holds a special place in Royal Family history, as both Princess Diana and Princess Charlotte were christened at the church.

In 2024, Charles and Camilla were joined by the Prince and Princess of Wales and their three children.

The Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh and their children, Princess Beatrice and her husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, Mike and Zara Tindall and Peter Philips joined the celebrations.

The King recently donated more than £50,000 to help fix the roof of his late mother’s favourite church.

Following a fundraising campaign to raise money for St Peter and Paul Parish Church in West Newton, Norfolk, the King made a big contribution to help complete the renovations.

He gifted £50,900 from the privy purse last year to the West Newton Roof Fund, according to the church’s latest annual financial reports.

As revealed by The Mirror, the late Queen would often attend Sunday services at the chapel before her death in September 2022.

The Grade II listed church sits on the Royal Sandringham Estate, and would be the final visit for the late Queen during her Christmas holiday in Norfolk.

She would also hold an annual awards ceremony for choristers and local school children at West Newton village hall on the first Sunday of each February.

The church was almost completely rebuilt in 1881 by architect Arthur Blomfield, but still maintains its 14th-century tower.

ROYAL SHOCK: Prince George Gets New Title – And The Confession That Made William & Kate Cry In Front Of The Entire Palace Buckingham Palace was rocked by the surprise announcement from King Charles III: Prince George, just 12, has been officially given the special honorary title that belonged to Prince Andrew – who was stripped of all his roles after a scandal rocked the royal family. It is the first time in British history that a pre-teen heir to the throne has been given such a symbolic responsibility. However, the real shock came when George himself announced his new title at a ceremony at Windsor. In front of the entire family, he said in a choked voice: “I know who this title used to be… and I just want to use it to right what was wrong.” The room fell silent, and when the camera panned to William and Kate, both were seen shedding tears—not from pride, but because their son’s words had touched on something the royal family had tried to hide for so long. “He looked straight at the king as he said it,” one courtier recalled. “Charles didn’t reply, just bowed his head slowly.” Rumors spread quickly that George knew the whole truth about Andrew’s scandal—and that, because of that, he had vowed to “make that title a new trust for England.” But what shook the nation was one final sentence, said to have been whispered as he left the platform—a sentence that only William heard, and which left him “stuck, speechless.” What were those six words that made the future heir burst into tears?
