Following the unprecedented arrest of his brother, King Charles III was heckled with sharp questions about the scandal during his first public appearance at London Fashion Week. Protesters in the crowd shouted inquiries regarding his knowledge of the situation, even as the monarch maintained a formal stance by stating that “the law must take its course.” Despite the vocal confrontations, the King and Queen Camilla continued their scheduled engagements, signaling a commitment to their royal duties amidst the significant legal turmoil surrounding the former prince.
King Charles was peppered with questions about his brother Andrew during his first public appearance since the disgraced royal was arrested over ties to Jeffrey Epstein Thursday.
“Do you have any reaction to the arrest of your brother, sir?” one woman called as Charles stepped out of a car for an engagement at London Fashion Week, according to Town and Country.
“Your Majesty, how are you feeling after your brother’s arrest?” another said.

“Have you spoken to your brother, Your Majesty?”

The king did not respond to the onslaught, but earlier issued a statement supporting the rule of UK law.
“Let me state clearly: the law must take its course. As this process continues, it would not be right for me to comment further on this matter,” he said.
