On June 21, Kate Middleton celebrated the 43rd birthday of the Prince of Wales with a traditional behind-the-scenes snapshot from her own camera roll. In the photo, Prince William is seated in the grass wearing jeans and a green button-down, playing with the four new puppies the family welcomed in May from their cocker spaniel, Orla. At least one of the puppies is the same shiny black as Orla, while the other two are a rich chocolate brown.
“Happy birthday! Love C, G, C, L, Orla and the puppies!” the princess wrote in the caption.
King Charles shared a more formal picture of William on the Royal Family’s official X account with the caption, “Happy Birthday to The Prince of Wales!”

She wore a matching hat by Juliette Botterilll Millinery in the same robin’s egg blue and accessorized with a pair of the late Queen Elizabeth’s pearl drop earrings.
Charlotte wore a blue dress as well, while the boys wore navy suits and red ties that matched their dad’s bright red military uniform.
