Shockwaves Through the Palace! Princess Diana’s Brother Speaks Out After 60 Years – Charles and Camilla Left Stunned

Princess Diana’s brother Earl Spencer shares new photo of royal on the anniversary of her wedding to Charles

The then-Prince Charles and Lady Diana Spencer got married on July 29, 1981

Princess Diana’s brother, Earl Charles Spencer, has shared a new photo of his sister 44 years after her 1981 royal wedding.

On July 29, 1981, Lady Diana Spencer walked down the aisle at St Paul’s Cathedral at the age of 20 to marry the then-Prince of Wales.

The marriage famously ended in divorce in 1996, with Princess Diana dying the following year in a car crash in Paris.

Taking to social media on the would-be wedding anniversary, Earl Spencer posted a picture of himself and Diana as young children.King Charles and Princess Diana

He captioned the post: “A long ago summer, by the swimming pool at our childhood home, Park House, Sandringham – Diana and I both proudly showing off our swimming badges (sewn onto our swimming costumes).

“These were awarded (sparingly) by Mrs Lansdowne, a fairly terrifying but very gifted swimming instructor, who came to stay each year.

“We were never out of that pool.”

Royal fans loved the throwback post, with some even recognising similarities between the young Diana and Charles with current members of the Royal Family.

For example, one royal watcher asked: “Prince George and Princess Charlotte?”

A second person wrote: “Well, I definitely see Prince George in you there.”

Another person commented: “Princess Diana will always be in our [red heart emoji] forever.”

Similarly, someone posted: “Super sweet, what wonderful memories of childhood.”

A fifth added: “I too see Prince George in the pic of you Charles. Such a lovely photo of you and Diana.”

Finally, someone wrote: “This is so adorable… having beautiful childhood memories with no cares in the world, sibling love.”

King Charles arrived in Scotland on Monday to mark the 70th anniversary of the Dounreay Nuclear site.

His visit coincided with Donald Trump’s appearance in Scotland, where he travelled to meet Prime Minister Keir Starmer.

OH MY GOODNESS! PRINCESS CATHERINE STUNS THE WORLD — AGAIN! All eyes were on Princess Catherine, the Princess of Wales, as she stole the spotlight at Buckingham Palace’s grand Diplomatic Reception, dazzling in a breathtaking gown and one of the Queen’s rarest diamond tiaras — worth an astonishing £800,000! With her signature poise and timeless grace, Catherine stepped into the ballroom alongside Prince William, radiating pure royal elegance. Her gown — a custom Jenny Packham masterpiece — shimmered softly under the chandeliers, while her iconic smile lit up the entire palace. But it was the Lover’s Knot Tiara — a legendary piece once worn by both Queen Elizabeth II and Princess Diana — that sent royal watchers into a frenzy. The stunning diamond-and-pearl crown glittered like liquid light, resting perfectly against her classic updo. It was more than fashion — it was symbolism. A nod to the past, a tribute to Diana’s legacy, and a statement of Catherine’s role as the heart and future of the modern monarchy. Guests were awestruck, with one saying, “She didn’t just walk in — she glided. Every head turned. Every eye was on her.” Within minutes, social media exploded with admiration: “The elegance of a true queen.” “She embodies grace, strength, and legacy — all in one look.” “Diana’s spirit lives on through her.” Princess Catherine has mastered what few can — royal glamour with human warmth, regal power with genuine kindness. And once again, she reminded the world why she’s the people’s princess of a new era
