Princess Kate is reportedly taking a “steely” approach to save the monarchy.
Princess Kate is said to be using a clever tactic when it comes to “saving the Royal Family”. Speaking of the 43-year-old, who stepped out for a major appearance to mark Remembrance Day earlier this week, royal insiders are said to be very impressed with how Kate is positioning herself as a member of the Royal Family.
One royal expert has said that her “steely determination” is what has created the success she has had so far, as well as a guardedness that enables her to see potential threats to the monarchy. They added that she has not appeared to get too close to those who do not have the best interests of the monarchy at heart.
Royal expert Tessa Dunlop made reference to Kate’s appearance alongside Sarah Ferguson at the Duchess of Kent’s funeral back in September.
Writing for the Independent, she said: “The sharp contrast between the two women was eye-popping, Kate’s arch face a fitting riposte to the already sombre day.
“Dubbed the ‘protective huntress’ by one royal-watcher, once more the Windsors’ meticulous player had fended off danger, her poise and ice-queen exterior the alchemy that has led to this new alpha epitaph.”
Dr Dunlop added: “Huntress Kate, the untouchable royal charm, silently signalling that enough is enough. Yards away on the same step, William mirrored his wife’s behaviour in the face of Andrew’s buffoonery.
“Kate has always played the long game, and both she and her husband have a brutal, steely streak.”

Discussing Kate’s ability to “see off” those who might pose a lingering threat to the Firm, Dr Dunlop also studied “[her] coolness towards Meghan [that] is indicative of the couple’s wariness of a newcomer who appeared to neither understand nor value the institution they cleave to.”
Stepping out without her husband, Kate attended the Service of Remembrance at the National Memorial Arboretum on Tuesday.
Wearing a military-style black coat, the royal joined attendees in observing the two-minute silence at 11am. She then laid down a wreath in remembrance of those who have made the ultimate sacrifice and all those who have served in the Armed Forces.
